Make a Mere Minimalistic Potion - An Upgrade to MineCrafts NPC Spawning System
Make a Mere Minimalistic Potion - An Upgrade to MineCraft's NPC Spawning SystemSo I have gotten to Level 71 and I am looking for a way to make a mundane potion. I'm not sure where to go or what I should do to get it started. Please consider this and let me know if you have any advice on the subject.Minecraft has a lot of great options when it comes to crafting potions, but none of them is a real, practical choice for my needs. The only option I have is to go down to the mine in the lower world and mine some more coal. But how do I get to that?I don't even remember where I mine, and with the lack of connection to the net, I can't really get into the mine. So I had better be looking somewhere else. The problem with that is that my mining doesn't actually take much. No, my farming does.Farm! Yes, I need something that's closer to my source of food. I need something that is to the side, away from my base. That's right, I need a chest that's wide open and near my mineshaft. So, I head to m ine craft mcMMO and find a chest there. The problem is that it's pretty far from my feet. I could at least go up there and mine there but that would be slow work. So how about we use the power of flint and steel to do the work for us? Firing off a flint and steel and creating a light which can jump a long distance to get a chest with items on it close to where I want it to be.I look around at the chests I have around my base, and I see there's a chest at the end of the mine (I use it as a place to store minecarts). Now I don't have to move around to get my mundane potion, as it's just a matter of logging on, lighting the chest, and giving the furnace a tank to store items. What I do have now is a very fast, efficient way to get a mundane potion with minimal hassle. Using minecraft's build and rotate script, I can place a chest anywhere I need it and be able to create a potion with less effort than I would have to if I had to go down to the mines and mine coal.
